One in ten women suffers from endometriosis (EM), a chronic and painful disease, with treatment options limited to pain management and surgery.

Our vision is to pioneer the first disease-modifying treatment for EM to swiftly bring new hope to the millions of women affected. For that, we developed FMC2, a novel antibody-based, non-hormonal therapy.

Standard treatments for endometriosis typically involve hormonal therapies, such as birth control pills, progestins, or GnRH agonists, which aim to reduce estrogen levels and control symptoms like pain and heavy bleeding, though they do not address the root causes of the disease.

In more severe cases, surgical intervention to remove endometrial lesions or cysts may be necessary. However, these treatments may come with side effects and often fail to prevent recurrence. FimmCyte’s non-hormonal, disease-modifying treatment for endometriosis focuses on directly targeting disease progression without disrupting hormonal balance.

This approach reduces side effects commonly seen with hormonal therapies. By addressing inflammation, fibrosis, and lesion growth, these treatments may offer long-term disease control, reducing the need for invasive surgeries and providing a more sustainable, safer alternative for patients.
